Key Events so far:

I came of age at the far edge of Jack Kerouac's On The Road days. I hopped freight trains and hitch-hiked semis across the country, went on a 9 year vision quest about the world, became a whitewater rafting guide after attending several medical schools, rode my bike everywhere and back with a little black dog in a milk crate bungeed to the back, or on the back of my kayak, (still) do driveabouts in the truck and then the van, created a spiritual river expedition company, started a string of free clinics on reservations and at festivals, learned to weave in Northern New Mexico, lived in a trailer with solar panels and a wood stove off the grid while periodically commuting to a highend practice in Manhattan, New York.

I've sung some harmonies but not enough and I love riffing improv on holy music.

I've survived disabling illness, which taught me about despair and endurance and I've survived a series of closed head injuries which have taught me about pain and perception. I received help from a series of competent and unusual healers, who taught me Other Ways, lots of Other Ways. Rich path, much learning, many hands with big hearts.
